This private road, which is used by local and state utilities, was regularly damaged by trespassers wanting to move carts or vehicles down the road. We re-engineered and rebuilt this gate with many vandal-resistant features to include anti-lift cables, hingeless arms, and our unique sliding sheath locking system. We chose this particular locking design after our research determined that some users (agencies) could share a padlock, thus reducing the number of padlocks required. The finished result has been effective in keeping unauthorized carts and vehicles out, and it’s clean, sleek look is an aesthetic improvement over the old gate.
